Guide Bushings

DESCRIPTION

Draw Bushings, also known as Bushings and Guide Bushings, are available in a variety of standard

sizes, shapes and materials. All of our Guide Bushings are manufactured from a proprietary material possessing both high tensile strengths and wearability. Bushings are available in fractional, decimal and metric sizes. Standard stock includes round, hexagonal and square shapes.

QUALITY 

KEB is redefining the industry by measuring Bushings coaxially. Coaxiality measures the concentricity of multiple diameters of an ID and OD to a theoretical axis or center line. Coaxiality, a more rigorous measurement than Total Indicator Reading (TIR), ensures precision. It is our mission to provide our customers with the highest caliber product and service, therefore, our product measures within a coaxiality of .0002 or better at no additional cost.

CARBIDE 

Carbide lined Guide Bushings provide a wear life many times that of steel. Carbide may also prevent galling or scratching associated with certain types of softer metals. Carbide bores are available in fractional, decimal or metric sizes.

MEEHANITE

Guide Bushings constructed of Meehanite, due to its natural lubricity, are most commonly used on materials which “load up” or “smear”. Meehanite Guide Bushings are also suitable for any type of material but Meehanite Guide Bushings generally have a wear life much shorter than that of Carbide lined Guide Bushings. Meehanite Guide Bushings are available in round bores only.

HEXAGONAL & SQUARE

Hexagonal and Square Guide Bushings are hardened to increase wear life and are available in various stock ranges as listed.
